Who we are
FindMyMoneyKit sells FindMyMoney Kit, a $9 one-time digital product that helps people search for and track U.S. state unclaimed property. We are a private publisher. We are not a government agency and we are not affiliated with any state unclaimed-property office.
What we collect
- Purchase information. Your email address and an order reference. Card details are handled entirely by our payment processor and never reach our servers.
- Account information. If you join the affiliate program: your name, email, optional payout email, and your referral code.
- Referral activity. When someone visits through an affiliate link we store the referral code, the page they landed on, and the time. We do not store their name or IP address with it.
Cookies
We set a single cookie, ref_code, when you arrive through an affiliate link. It records which affiliate referred you, lasts 30 days, and is limited to this site (SameSite=Lax, Secure over https). We use no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
How we use information
To deliver your purchase, to unlock your downloads, to calculate and pay affiliate commissions, to answer support requests, and to prevent fraud and abuse. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not send marketing email you did not ask for.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers we need to run the business: our payment processor and our hosting and database provider. They may only process data on our instructions.
What we never see
We have no access to government records, no access to your unclaimed property claim, and we never file claims on your behalf. Anything you enter in the claims tracker stays on your own device.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to close your affiliate account, by contacting us at the email on your receipt. We keep purchase and commission records as long as needed for tax and accounting obligations.
Children
This site is not intended for anyone under 18.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
